How to name a child who is new born now?

Im from TamilNadu. And my name is Rajtharan G, G stands for initial of my father Gopal. We know that because of initials lot os issues are coming, like in PAN, Passport, etc. Should we name my child as XXXXX Rajtharan (or) xxxxx R ? What is the best thing to do now? Basically can I use Fathers name as Surname. In this case father and son will have different surname.

it is better to name your son with your initial rather than using your father's first letter as your son's initial inorder to avoid legal problems in the near future. And you can name your child as your wish. you can use the initial or your name as your child's surname.
