Rent agreements are to be drafted by your lawyer, it states crucial terms and conditions which a tenant has to follow. It doesn’t matter if the tenant is a married man or not, conditions would be same for everyone. Also the agreement has to be in the name of either the husband or his wife so you can ask them who wants to be on the agreement.

Sir, it's completely fine to draft the agreement in the name of the husband only. However, it is advisable to make a slight mention of the wife as well which doesn't cause any harm but can turn out to be useful in later stages. If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me.

You can draft the rent agreement in the name of either the husband or the wife — it is not mandatory to include both. However, including both names as co-tenants adds legal clarity and shared responsibility. The baby’s name need not be mentioned. Ensure that valid ID proof and signatures of all tenants included are taken. Also, mention terms clearly regarding rent, duration, and maintenance. We can assist you in matter
