To apply for a passport, it is important that all your documents have consistent and accurate details, especially regarding your name. Given the discrepancy in your initial (Somisetti vs. Somisetty) across different documents, it is advisable to correct this to avoid any issues during the passport application process. Aadhaar Card: Visit the nearest Aadhaar enrollment center or update it online through the UIDAI website to correct the spelling of your initial. Educational Certificates: If possible, reach out to your school or board to get a correction in your 10th and 12th mark sheets. Voter ID and Other Documents: Similarly, request corrections in your voter ID or any other identification documents. Having uniform initials across all your documents will facilitate a smoother passport application process. Once your documents are consistent, you can proceed with your passport application without any major issues
