Having two Birth Certificates with different dates of birth may create legal and administrative complications in the future. Since the second Birth Certificate appears to have been issued inadvertently while attempting to correct the earlier record, you should approach the concerned Registrar of Births and Deaths/Gram Panchayat and request verification and rectification of the records. The duplicate or incorrect certificate should be cancelled or corrected through the prescribed procedure. You should also ensure that the correct date of birth is consistently reflected in your Aadhaar, school records and other important documents. If the concerned authority does not rectify the issue or any dispute arises regarding the date of birth, an appropriate legal remedy may be considered after examining the relevant documents. If you require detailed legal consultation or assistance in examining and correcting the documents, you may approach us.
