Harassment from senior in public sector bank

I am facing mental harassment and rude behaviour from my senior manager in a public sector bank.Now he is delaying my allowance and making difficulty to get it. When I consulted colleagues they say there is no use in complaining and it will make things worse for your career. What should I do .

you can file petitions before labour court as well as the disciplinary authority of the bank. It will not in any way affect your career since you are using the remedies under different statutes. You can also file complaints before police and organisations dedicated to the well being of employees.
