15-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am pursuing a civil case against my former employer in the Singapore employment tribunal court. Since I m in new delhi India now I can only give evidence and attend the court proceedings through video link. The Singapore court has directed me to submit a letter stating that I m allowed to do so under the CPC legally (under relevant sections of law) I am seeking this advice from a lawyer in the form of a letter with reference to the relevant sections of Indian law in which I m allowed to do so

it is unfortunate that you had to suffer such a cause in an alien nation. however it is important for you to engage a lawyer in person and explain him/her the complete scenario so that he/she may be able to assist you in person. Any query over here will be an exercise which will not solve your specific query. hence as an advocate i will suggest you making a personal visit to some lawyer of good standing to be with you during the process though you may appear in the case in person

Well, the Indian statutory laws do provide for the use of video conferencing to record evidences both in India and abroad. Even, the Hon'ble Supreme Court in various judgements has given its observation of the efficacious use of video conferencing for recording of evidences. We can make it work if approached in a planned manner. For assistance, you may consult me. Good luck!
