Extra fee charging by college.they are charging 100/- extra from stude

I am a student from madina degree and pg college for women.it is affliated to osmania university. They are charging extra exam fee of 1000/-. In University notification it was 1690 our college is charging 2700. Do they have the right to charge extra fee from students?
hi if the university is charging more than prescribed fees then you could send them a legal notice to withdraw the extra fees and if they failed to respond then you could file complaint jn consumer firum
