Does pregnancy makes you ineligible for government job?

Dear Sir, My friend was get divorce in 2014, she apply Rajasthan govt job and clear first stage and also fight second stage exam. Result is waiting. But now she got married after exam and also she is pregnant. So if she will qualified in exam, then will she get job or disqualified ?

No, pregnancy will not come in your way to appear in Competitive exam for a job in Raj. government. So if in case you are selected than you are eligible to join your duty. But if in case you cannot join duty because of pregnancy than you can submit representation before respective department explaining your condition and requesting to delay the joining date.

There is no such threat which may disqualify her from getting a job , being pregnant is her natural right and not only in India but also in any part of world it is a natural right as india is party to the covenant of UN charter where human rights have been kept at uppermost level so she has right in case if any problem comes your friend may resort to court through a petition and certainly she will get relief.

No court or no government had no right to interfere your personal matter , if your friend already got divorce and thereafter she is married to another any person than what is problem to government ...

As Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India a married woman is not disqualified for appointment, the fact that she is pregnant, cannot be a disqualification for continuing with appointment. Nor can pregnancy, in such circumstances, be treated as a bar to be appointed.
