Do I have to change my name or religion if I'm marrying in a church?

18-Mar-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hello. My name is Swathi. I converted to Christianity on 01/06/2019. I am officially a hindu as I didn't change my religion yet. I am marrying a Christian in a Church. I am also planning to go to Australia for my higher studies soon after that. My recordical name is Swathi Padmanabhan and my Baptismal name is Swathi Rose. Should we register our marriage under special marriage Act or should I convert my religion and change my name officially to swathi rose and then marry under Christian marriage Act? Which one will be easier and practical ?

In Catholic church, as per Christian Marriage Act one of the spouses need to be Catholic. In Kerala, If the marriage has to be conducted in church, unless there are special reasons both the parties must be Christian.
