Damage to roof of my (pagadi tenant) room by PG tenent

I am a pagadi tenant and building owner have a flat just opposite to my flat and he give his room for PG to earn good rent building caught fire on this Diwali and PG tenant ran to our cementsheet roof to escape themselves damaging the cement sheet ,who will repaire the roof ,pl advice

As a pagadi tenant, you are entitled to peaceful enjoyment of your premises. Since the damage to the cement sheet roof occurred due to the actions of the PG tenant invited by the building owner, the responsibility to repair lies with the building owner. You may send a legal notice to the owner demanding repair or compensation. If he fails to act, you can approach the Rent Control Authority or file a civil suit for damages. Also, document the damage with photos and witness statements for future evidence.
