Damage to property On ground floor by first floor resident

FF resident extended by welding their iron safety grill into our private closed gate balcony and their welding damaged our 20 tiles of 4sq ft each despite our not accepting this.The damage due to wreckless welding was brought to their notice but still they cont'd saying they will get the tiles repaired but now they have backed out What to do.It is DDA SFS flats in Delhi

You can easily file a civil suit in the court against your neighbour and also for permanent injunction to stop further construction and also should ask for mandatory injunction to remove the illegal construction done if it is against building bye laws and claim compensation too
