Consequences of missing hearing in Lok adalat

I had filed a theft FIR in 2016. It was a case of mobile theft by house maid. I was informed via whtsapp on 06 sep 18 that my case has come up in lok adalat in 08 sep 18. I am transferred out of city for last 1 year. Theft case under IPC 379. Is it correct for police to file in lok adalat. If i am unable to attend court hearing. What are consequences.
It is not yrs cumplusion to appear in Lok adalat first u appoint yrs council or advocate then he should manage your Dispute on next Lok adalat on next month the council will manage your dispute 379 theft case
