It sounds like you're facing a tricky situation with the neighbor holding up your progress due to their refusal to provide the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the common wall. This can be quite a common issue when dealing with shared property boundaries. If informal communication and mediation fail, you could consider legal recourse. A lawyer specializing in property law can help: Send a legal notice to the neighbor requesting the NOC. File a suit for permission to proceed with your development if your neighbor continues to refuse. .Disclaimer: This information is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. You can start by sending legal notice to the person not giving NOC. Further you can pressure the person by sending notice for compensation for loss incurred due to not getting NOC from the said neighbour.
