Change name of divorce petition.

I have filed for divorce in the petition my child name is something else (e.g Aman) but i don't make his birthcertificate yet . So can i mention his name different (e.g Harry) in his birthcertificate as i want to change his name or the same will continue as mentioned in petition .

You can always make an amendment in the petition by filing an amended memo of parties through your advocate in the same court where your divorce case is pending. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of 6 months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

for the change of name, you can get the name change petition filed in the court only when there is a proper registered name. Kindly get the birth certificate made for the child so that the procedure becomes easy for you.
