Category issue in central government job

I belong to OBC NCL category. In my school and college I had given it as general only. But however in my PG application form by mistake it was given as SC . even I didn't take it seriously and college also didn't bother as there were no reservations for any caste in college nor fee concession. In my TC no caste is mentioned. It's been 4 years now .Will this be a problem during job verification in central government? Will they just verify my caste with issuing authority or also check it in school

definitely on the cast basis you wil get some reservations better you rectify the mistake where it is done in future problems may come so do it as soon as possible any further information cal me
