Can I do court marriage in shimla instead of chandigarh

My GF is the resident of Himachal as per adhar card. and i m from punjab. I want to do marriage in shimla instead of chandigarh. Can I do that? is that marriage recognized ? what will be the procedure ?
yes you can perform marriage at any place choice can be made from the residence of any of the parties there is no restrictions of place but conditions mentioned in law has to be complied with such aa both should be majors should be sane and they should not belong to the same family etc.
