Can housing societies refuse tenants?

I own a flat and want to give it to two student in which agreement with parents of the students .
however the apartment society is denying me to rent to students . I asked for a copy of the Society law which denies student tenants
they have not sent me any rules like that it has been already few days .
Can you let me know shall I file an ploice FIR against the society to give my flat to students ?
we cannot deny for the nun but it is Mutual understanding to give your house on rent to two bachelors. it is better you can talk to them and come to some agreement. they still not agree I will tell you the process to overcome from this situation you can reach me for the details thank you

yes you can file FIR against them.
all the rights of admission are reserved to the house owner. Society can't do anything if the owner permits.
as per law any such discrimination based on marital status is illegal and contradicts the fundamental rights. yo can drag the society to the court.
