Builder is not provided rent only me

Our building is in redevelopment process. Previously society appointed a builder, and without getting the IOD all the members vacated their room in year 2012 and handed the key to the society. So builder given the rent to all the members upto 2 years but builder is provided me only first year rent and for next year he stopped paying me rent, so I send numerous letter to society, builder and as well as to Mhada regarding my rent. So I want to know what are the legal option for my rent. And what is the time limit for legal case.

I can assure you that the rent will be recovered if you proceed for arbitration in high court. It’s a tried and tested method. It is however subject to the building being under construction. My office can guide on this.
