Aadhar card date of birth related issue and sure name related issue

Before marriage my surename and After marriage my sure name changed....now I am a government employee and present my sure name as my husbands surename....now this is create problem about my promotion...what can I do

There is a certain procedure for name change after marriage, which includes making an affidavit, placing advertisement and gazette publication. Complying with the procedure shall entitle you to be legally recognized under the updated surname, and should be accepted by the concerned authorities for all official purposes.
