Summons recieved but settlement on the way

I have a personal loan default from Poonawala.I recieve a summon dated 8/7/2025 at Kolkata Judicial Magistrate Court however I will be doing the settlement with the company on 27/6/2025. Do I have to attend the summon then? How will the court lift up the case?
you need to appoint an advocate and we are willing to help . we will appear on your behalf on that particular day and will say the same that settlement has been reached therefore there is no need to continue with the case... We will charge you for that particular date....
