Debtor says blank cheque given as security is missing after closing lo

I borrowed loan of rupees one lakh from a close friend last year. I gave my father's blank cheque as security. Now that I have closed the loan, I requested the cheque back but the person says they dont remember getting the cheque from me. But I really did give and I dont remember the cheque number. What should I do now?

first you need to sent a legal notice to retrun it you can also file police complainant and ask them to return it of they dont respondent to you need file a civil to return the cheque if they really miss the cheque by taking the above steps bring them to undertake for loan that you paid
