Case filed by Private Financer against given cheques for security

Dear Sir / Madam
I took a loan from private financer and paid him back all money which we borrow from him, but he took two cheques from me against the loan with double amount and he sent me a notice, how to get to know that notice is legal.
Hello if you have received a demand notice u/s 138 NI act it must be for the cheque bounce of the security cheque you had give to complaint. If you have paid the loan amount you should send the reply to the legal notice along with proof of payment so that you can defend the case if complaint file complaint in the court.

Hi,it is advisable to send a reply to the legal notice ..How did you return the money? If you have returned through bank transactions then it can be made a defence in the court of law..It is a bailable offfenec so there is nothing to worry
