It simply means that Bailable Warrants has been issued against you and you need to appear on the next date of hearing and you must take one surety along with you. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

It is advisable not to wait for the police to come to your house. Instead, you or your advocate should appear before the court that issued the BW at the earliest, preferably within a few days, and apply for bail by showing your bona fide intention to cooperate. The court will normally recall the BW and release you on bail upon furnishing the required bond and surety. Contacting the local SHO is not necessary unless the court specifically directed it. Prompt voluntary appearance before the court generally prevents further coercive action or conversion of BW into NBW (Non-Bailable Warrant).

Do connect and seek a detailed legal Consultation for your cheque dishonour criminal complaint case. No you dont have to connect with SHO. Do engage a lawyer and appear with him before the Court. BW are issued when an accused does not appear before the court despite service of summons.

You have been served the warrant by the police official, right? No need to contact the police now. You may appear in the court directly. At the time of appearance, you will need an acquaintance who can be your surety who will also have to place on record the documents of any asset like car insurance, FDR etc at least amounting to Rs 5000. All of this will be submitted with a form with proper documents.
