Will bank give joint loan if property is jointly registered.

I have decided to purchase a flat.My developers says for it 10% booking amts. 20% agreement and rest on possession.Now my wife requested me to keep her name in agreement.Which I cannot deny.Now I want to know after agreement when I will go for Bank loan will bank give me loan in my single name? I am Hindu and my religion is hinduism.
Sir, The property can be registered on joint name . Loan can be taken on both names ( relation should be either couple or blood relation ). Income tax issues would arise but can be resolved. In future you may face couple of issues having the property on joint names.
