What to do if Demat account is in negative ?

My demate account shown -20000 negative balance by over charg brokerage .i have nill security in demate .what would happen if i am not paid 20000. And what should i do if broker deny to adjustment ?
Talk to your broker and convince him your point of view. There is always arbitration arrangement with brokers through NSE or BSE as the case may be if you feel you are wronged / aggrieved and your concerns are not being addressed. Additionally you may send notice to your broker and can also file consumer case.

I am unable to understand as to what is the adjustment yo are talking about. As regards the overcharge of brokerage, you can always lodge a complaint with the concerned Stock Exchange and SEBI against the broker.
