i had taken loans from.various bank. now i am unable to pay how can i settle the amount with the banks ....what are legal remedies
Banks are not bound to settle. Settlement is the result of consensus between two parties. Settlement also depends upon the nature of loan, if it is a unsecured loan then Banks would be eager to settle, but if the loan is secured one i.e mortgaged then Bank would be hesitant to settlement .Though it also depends upon the negotiating skill of parties and lawyer.
