Misuse of my Pan number by Canara Bank

My pan number was misused by the Canara Bank which resulted in Income Tax dept inquiry on me. Received notices from IT department, sent a legal notice to the bank but they haven’t replied in a properly. How do I take the case ahead
I strongly suggest you approach consumer court since you are an aggrieved consumer on account of deficient service by the Canara Bank. But having said all that Banks are generally slow in their work. Also you have not mentioned how did you come to the conclusion that PAN card was misused.
