Harassed despite loan closure – need legal support

18-Aug-2025 (In Banking / Finance Law)
I am seeking legal help regarding serious misconduct by an NBFC. Despite receiving a valid NOC dated Feb 25, 2025, confirming loan closure, I was harassed with “past due” notices even before the final EMI date. Later, a second NOC was issued in June, seemingly to cover their earlier mistake. They even attempted a payment transfer to my closed Paytm account, showing gross negligence. Because of this, my credit score and financial standing have been damaged, causing stress, rejection of loans, and loss of reputation. Despite repeated emails, the NBFC has stalled and avoided accountability. I cannot pay upfront legal fees, but I am ready to compensate once damages are awarded, which should run into crores given the violations. This case is not only about my loss but about setting a precedent against predatory practices. I need strong legal representation to ensure justice and accountability.

sir you can file a complaint on the RBI portal. as well as after filing the complaint with RBI you can file a consumer complaint online. tell them the situation in detail and submit the payment evidence for ex. if you paid via various banks you can print the statements and highlight the transaction, as well as don't forget to submit your NOC. if No Dues Certificate is issued then it will be very strong evidence.
