Q: Husband filed for divorce, I have filed my counter reply

Husband filed for divorce, I have filed my counter reply against divorce but no counterclaim made. Now after 2 years of court proceedings, I have changed my mind and now I also want divorce. Case is in stage of pw3 cross examination. What should I do now to grant divorce early. Should I file petition to withdraw my counter filed earlier or should tell judge that I'm also willing for divorce. What should I do and best way. Plz suggest if any options are there

yes as seeing in your case stage, please ask judge to refer mediation due to willing to give divorce mutually so then if judge allowed mediation you can settle all things with help of mediation and then mediator reports to court then divorce will granted

A political friend helping in many no of issues over a phone call with his influence but husband after 3 years of friendship he doubted spouse even if he saw that friend & spouse outside anywhere but both like a sister & brother but one instance spouse alone gone to 1 marriage & friend is also not in station so doubted & left wife and shifted to other house along with children & his mother.Will she get compensation if divorce applied?

As per your case facts,if we prove she is in extra marital affair or committed adultery, she couldn't get any compensation even divorce applied by herself. and you can also initiate divorce proceedings and prove she is in extra marital affair if judge satisfied with our statements. We don't need to give any maintenance and compensation. but if you have child , maintenance should provide for them

Q: Summons to petitioner to appear in person

My son in law who is an US citizen (born in India and became US citizen in 2023. Currently living in USA) filed divorce case against my daughter in Feb 2025.Both married in 2024.After the counseling the counsellor report was for his personal appearance. The judge ordered for his personal appearance in Jan 2026. But he did not appear citing the reason not got leave. In Jan 26 the judge gave another chance to appear in Apr 26.If he fails again what would happen?What my daughter has to do next?

yes mam, as you said if your son in law repeatedly absent while hearing period; judge may pass order without his appearance if that judge thought he intently refused to appear before court. so you should prove he purposively not appear before court. so judge may order exparte in favor of your side of judge satisfied
