Q: 498a, RCR & Divorce case settlement suggestion required
My wife has filled 498a against me in different city and then I have filled a divorce petition in Bangalore. So she has again filled a RCR case. Now they have filled a transfer petition in high court to transfer the divorce case to their city. Since it’s already two years, and my parents are ill I thought to go with the settlement and close it as the girl side is only look for money from day 1. Which is better to close first? 498a, RCR in different city and then divorce case in Bangalore? Help!

You can file joint memo before the Family Court at Bangalore stating that all the allegations are withdrawn and both the parties will co-operate to withdraw all the cases and the same may be reported before the other Court where RCR is pending. Finally you can file the quashing petition on 498A by producing your settlement petition.
