Advocate Kunal Arora answered
Based on the facts shared, you do have legal remedies available when a neighbour’s pets cause continuous disturbance. While keeping dogs is not illegal, your neighbour has a responsibility to ensure they do not create a nuisance.1. Complain to the Local Municipality2. Police Complaint for Public NuisanceUnder Sections 268 and 290 of the IPC3. Legal Notice4. Civil Suit for InjunctionAs a final resort, you may file a civil suit for permanent injunction before the local civil court, seeking an order directing the neighbour to prevent the pets from causing nuisance.
