Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) ko written representation dein.* Magistrate Court mein investigation jaldi complete karne aur challan pesh karne ke liye appropriate application move kar sakte hain.* Agar investigation mein anuchit delay ho raha hai, to High Court mein appropriate remedy (jaise direction for expeditious investigation) bhi li ja sakti hai.

Q: Contractor Abandoned Work, Took My Property & money , Police inaction

I hired a labour contractor under a written agreement to build my commercial property by Sept 2025. He stopped work, refuses to resume, and claims the work done equals the amount paid. I paid ₹6.75 lakh, but work worth only about ₹5 lakh was done. He also took my shuttering plates and water motor without permission. Police have not acted. Please advise on civil and criminal remedies and what to do if FIR is not registered.

Criminal RemediesIf the contractor intentionally took your shuttering plates and water motor without your consent, and there is evidence that he dishonestly retained or removed them, you may seek action for offences such as:* Criminal breach of trust (if applicable to the facts).* Theft (if the ingredients are satisfied).* Cheating, if there is evidence that he induced payment through dishonest intention from the beginning. Mere breach of contract is generally not enough for cheating; courts require proof of fraudulent intention at the inception.

Im an international student from zim i applied in india they advertise wrong college , offer letter states they provide us with food and accomodation but they only give indian cuisine while charging africans tripple the amount , accomodation is bad and they overpack students if you complain they dont solve they are scammers , they hold you and certificates in custody forcefully and refuse to transfer
