Q: Yesterday i had my bail hearing for section 376 false promise to marry

I had my bail hearing yesterday for false promise to marry case and after hearing both sides judge said that order will be passed after 15 days, so what does that mean?

Advocate Harish Mehla answered
you have to wait till the decision of the court on the anticipatory bail , idhar it will be dismissed it will be allowed . did you filed it in district court or the High Court ? if it has been filed in the district court , in case of dismissal then you may have to approach the High Court .

Q: how to know if there is any fir against me?

hi i live in canada and came into a relation with one girl turned that girl is married .... her husband is back there in india (they married under special marriage act got married in arya temple then registered the marriage to magistrate then the girl came here and no one knew that she got married) when i came to know everything she said she want to be with me as tthe marriage was forced one on basis of nudes. now the girl has changed her number and her forcefully married husband contacted me and aid he is going to file fir againt me that i am threatening her wife to be with me. so i wanna come india for few months will i get arrested as soon as i land in india.

If there is a FIR recorded than in absence of bail an arrest can be made at airport. You have to manage to check the area where the person and girl were residing as in a matrimonial household to check from local police station regarding filling of FIR.

Q: How to expedite FIR quashing process

Hi,Me and my husband had filed for mutual divorce and First motion is done early this year and second motion in due next month. There is an FIR in my husband's name which as per the MOU, had to be quashed in the High Court by the guy's side but they have not filed the petition yet. It has been more than 6 months since the first motion but still they have not gone to High Court. My second motion date had been pushed to next month due to pending FIR.Is there any way the complainant of the FIR can do anything to expedite this FIR quashing process? Since the FIR is not quashed, my second motion would not happen until that is done. It has been delayed once and I do not want that it gets delayed again. Please advise what can I (complainant) do in such case to get the FIR quashed in High Court? Thanks,R

Advocate Harish Mehla answered
Since it's a mutual settlement, you have to for the sake of it pursue your husband for filling the quashing at high court on the basis of compromise. Only high court has power to quash a FIR so a petition is needed to be filed.

How many bailable warrants are usually issued before the judge issues a non bailable warrant?

Its complete discretion of the court, the court has to ensure presence of a person in court esp. when bound by the course of law as a witness or accused. The court can grant few opportunities or none, its entirely discretion.
