Can govt department removed name of qualified candidate

I was selected in a government job where my name was there in the list but after some time they deleted my name. what action can I take

Please specify whether you have any proof of your name appearing in the list of qualified candidates. Also please clarify if a second list was taken out without your name in it. Unless complete information is provided, it is not possible to advise

You can challenge the deletion if it has happened after publication of the list. If list was not published and you only knew unofficially that your name is in the list then you may not be able to challenge the action. You can file a writ petition to challenge deletion after publication if it is done without any reason.

You can mark this incident initially to the department which was conducting this examination and selection procedure. If they fails to make any proper response thereto then you can send them your compliant at their complaint desk. If they still fails to make any proper response then you can come before competent court of jurisdiction against them.
