There are two phases of documentation which is required to set-up and thereafter to run any organisation. Since yours is a Dance Studio this answer is precisely to your subject. Please read below -

Start up requirements -

- You need to register your studio as an organisation (company, LLP etc.)
- It is required that the organisation (if not a sole proprietorship) have a separate financial accounts, PAN Card, VAT registration (for payment of Service Tax, there are some exemptions allowed)
- An address from where you will run this studio and organisation

On going requirements (requirements which are to be complied for the smooth running of your studio)

- Maintenance of separate balance sheet,
- Back ground check of your employees and students as well, issuing them a proper ID card etc.
- Compliance of employment laws of India,
- Singing of various contracts in between the studio and third parties as and when the requirement arise,
- It is mandatory to take licence from 'Phonographic Performance Limited' for music under Copyright Act otherwise your Dance Studio may not run at all

Non-legal requirements -

- It is necessary for you to maintain the infrastructure of your Dance Studio as per the International Standard otherwise you may fall into legal trouble.

Rest we can discuss when we will meet in person. My best wishes for your venture.
