Reminder for legal Notice for Full Due Payment sent to Client

02-Oct-2023 (In Startup Law)
Dear Esteemed Legal Experts, I have sent a payment due legal notice to my client after he sent a notice to me to evade the payments and asking for refunds of already delivered services to him. It has been more than 4 months the legal notice demanding closure of payments has been sent to the client but with no response. What is the best way to send a follow-up reminder to the client? What format of E-mail we should send? or should we server another demand notice to him? Please let us know. Thanks, SriJith

Dear Client,

This is with regard to your query posted on LawRato. Please find my response to your query as follow:
1. At present it is better to send a legal notice to them, rather sending a reminder. However, if you have strongly believe that the opposite party may tender your payment then it is your choice, but if the opposite party does not pay in that case ultimately you have to send a legal notice of demand.
2. If there is any written agreement between you and the opposite party that consists an arbitration clause then you may seek for arbitration. If there is no such agreement having arbitration clause then you have to file the recovery suit.

Hope above clarify your issues.

Best regards,
