Is there permission required from any agency to provide online tuition

26-Aug-2023 (In Startup Law)
I am planning to start an online tuition service. I am not sure if I need to get any permission from any government agency. I know for starting a school, there are permissions required, but for providing online tutoring service (through recorded lectures), is there any compliance requirement or any approvals needed to start an online tutoring portal.

It depends on the structure you are making to provide your services and generally it does not require to register yourself with any authority or any permission required from any agency. you can simply arrange a zoom call with your students to conduct a online tutions.
Further it is advised if you are providing tution classes on regular basis for different courses and competitive exams you may require some registrations for that we can get on a call to discuss the same.

Hi!
There are no compliance requirements as such. However if you wish to have a unique name or logo then it is advisable to get trademark and copyright registered.
Also the recorded lectures can be a registered copyright.
