Is registration compulsory for an e- commerce business

Hello, can you please guide me with what type of company registration I should go with, when I want to open an ecommerce store and I am the only owner.

Taking into consideration the above given facts.

Since you want to open an e-commerce store, and mentioned you being the only owner. You go for OPC. (ONE PERSON COMPANY) under the companies act.

If or you may register your self as a proprietor company.

On the face of it with such limited information, a sole Proprietorship should be best suited for your needs. For more details I would need to know what kind of business is being started so that I can guide you better.

Hello.

It completely depends upon the requirement of the online stores tied up with, if any.

Otherwise you can operate as a sole proprietor with a shops and establishments license (for current A/C and VAT)
