Harassment to all my family members regarding loan

I have taken a loan and i was not able to make payment and now i settled to a certain amount and i wanted some time but the recovery agent is not giving us any time. He daily call my parents and use abusive words and harass my family member and neighbors. I told the guy that i will make payment but he is not listening. What shall i do to this???

You can file a suit against them for mental harassment and intimidation before a civil court in the area of your jurisdiction. Since you are already in talks with the bank and a settlement amount has been reached, it is the responsibility of the bank to make sure the recovery agents don’t trouble you.
