Through Advocate Date: //20__ To, The Managing Director / Authorized Officer (Address) Subject: Legal Notice for Billing Issues and Overcharging – Demand for Rectification and Refund Sir/Madam, Under instructions and on behalf of my client Mr./Ms. ____________, resident of __________________, I hereby serve upon you the present legal notice as under: That my client availed your services/products on ____________ under Account No./Customer ID ____________, subject to the agreed terms and conditions. That it is shocking and surprising to note that you have raised an incorrect, excessive, and inflated bill, bearing Bill No. __________ dated __________, wherein my client has been overcharged without any lawful justification. That the said bill includes unauthorized charges / incorrect calculations / charges beyond the agreed tariff, which were never consented to by my client and are contrary to the contractual terms. That despite repeated oral/written requests, you have failed to rectify the said billing errors, which clearly amounts to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. That due to your illegal acts, my client has suffered financial loss, mental harassment, and inconvenience, for which you are solely responsible. That your above acts are violative of the provisions of applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, and other relevant rules and regulations.
