Younger brother's share in elder brother's self acquired property?

can a younger brother claim for share in older brother's property which he earned on his own? And the older brother works as a govt employee,a job which was given to him when his father died as he was educated and his other brothers are not educated.we belong to muslim caste.
The brothers will have a share in the ancestral properties inherited from the grandfather. However in so far as the self acquired properties of the eldest brother are concerned the others will have no share in the same and the same will fall entirely to the share of his wife and children etc.
