Without my knowledge my grand mother's land has been transferred

Can a stranger transfer my ancestral property belonging to my grand mother, to someone or others? How can I get the property back? Pls suggest the way sir

No stranger can sell your grandmother's property legally. Only such property which has been in common possession and enjoyment continuously for four generations and has not been divided or partitioned will come under the definition of an ancestral property. You have to file a suit at the proper court in consultation with a competent lawyer for setting aside the sale, in order to get back the property.
