Who is responsible for water seepage from upper floor to lower floor in a flats of housing society?
In a housing society, the responsibility for water seepage from an upper floor to a lower one typically lies with the owner or occupant of the upper flat, if the seepage is due to poor maintenance or internal plumbing issues within their unit. However, if the leakage is from common areas or external pipelines maintained by the housing society, then the society may be liable.
