Where to file complaint against BBMP for not taking any action

15-Oct-2023 (In Property Law)
There is a illegal construction going on behind my house, they have constructed more than 6 floors which is causing us not to get sufficient sunlight and air. They have also not left the passage as per the rules. Informed BBMP and got to know they have no approved plan. Still BBMP has not taken any action as the person who is constructing has political influence. Will going to the court help us? Should we file a case against BBMP for not taking any action?

If the said construction is preventing natural light coming to your house and if that construction is without an approved plan, and BBMP is not taking action you have a right to take legal action, You should complain to BBMP in writing and should have a documentary proof for it.

Dear Madam /Sir,
Plz file a complaint to the concern BBMP engineer and officer to take action against that, if they will not consider your complaint, you can file writ petition before Honble high Court of Karnataka seeking consideration of your complaint or you can file Civil suit for demolition of illegal construction.
