What to do when hostel owner pastes poster on wall?

SOMEONE PASTED POSTERS(ADVERTISING SOME KIND OF PVT. HOSTEL FOR STUDENTS) ON MY PLOTS BOUNDARY WALL.. WHICH DAMAGED WALL PAINT AND LOOKS UGLY .... I HAVE TOLD OWNER(HOSTEL OWNER) TO COME AND REMOVE THE POSTERS AND MAKE IT LOOK AS BEFORE IT WAS, BUT HE DIDNT RESPONDED WHAT ARE THE LEGAL ACTIONS AVAILABLE WITH ME???
