What to do in case of fraud by corporation agents?

Hello sir, i need an urgent help from you. I am businessman from Gulbarga (Karnataka). I have some open land to run a factory and some constructed area with shutter to run a shop. Earlier my factory was under KSIDC . But in 2014 KSIDC handover it to Gulbarga Corporation. And we got the same info in 2017. So I went to corporation to know the procedure of getting registered and about khata extract. Some agents were there. They told me that they can help me, no need to visit corporation frequently as you know how our govt offices work. So I trusted one among them and given him my work. First of all that agent took 80,000 from me. (69000 for pending property tax for 3 years 2014-17 and 5,000 for creating property entry in corporation for khata extract and another 6,000 is his commission. Even after taking money he took over one month to complete work saying that process is complicated. After this a month ago he took another 25000 for trade license. No license still. I lost 1 lakh in total
Fraud by a Corporation agent is as good as fraud by any other individual. Also, these agents or touts are not public servants or backed by the Government, these are simply middlemen trying to male quick money. Since, you chose to engage such an agent you have no other option rather to file a police complaint for cheating, criminal breach of trust, cheating by impersonation, deception with dishonest intention and other provisions provided under Indian Penal Code. Get an FIR registered in the jurisdictional police station and let the police conduct an investigation into these fraudulent activities by these Agents.
