What right does child of first wife has in fathers property

my friends mother divorced her husband and now the guy has remarried but does not have ay child from his 2nd wife.
does my friend has any right in the property and if yes then how can he claim the same ?
Yes your friend has right over the property as legally weeded wife. In order to claim the share in the property you need to file the case int the court of law for suit for partition and declaration of share.

Your friend has right (share) in his father's property (only after father's demise without leaving a Will) . To get his share, your friend need to file a civil suit.

If the property in the hands of your friend's father is ancestral then your friend has a right to claim and if the property is self acquired property of your friend's father then the father has exclusive right over the property during his life time. Your friend will get a right only after the father's death along with his second wife.
