Time required to transfer agricultural land mother to daughter
There is no time limit and the transfer can be made by the mother whenever she thinks appropriate. However, in order to ensure that there is tax exemption on the transfer the land has to be used for agricultural purpose only for 2 years after the transfer has been made.
