What is the share of daughter and wife in fathers earned property
01-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
who has major rights on fathers earned property Daughters or wife?
Assuming that both the husband and wife are Hindus, the husband will have complete right over his self acquired property and he can transfer or sell the property the manner which he wishes to. Wife will have a share in the husband's property in the case of divorce or the husband dies without leaving a will.
In case of will it will be strictly as per the testament. But if the property holder dies intestate (without a legally tenable Will), then the mother, wife and daughter of the deceased person will have same and equal right in the interessts left behind intestate.
