What is the procedure to form building society

I Want to know the procedure to form Building society.
To form a housing society you need to have at least 10 members and make an application in Form A. Alongwith application you also need to submit (i) the model bye-laws of the society, (ii) a true copy of the approved building plan, (iii) Title Clearance certificate from the Advocate and such other required documents.

In Maharashtra, society is govern under The Maharashtra Co-op.Soc. Act, 1960, it provides two ways to get the Socirty registered with the Authority
1. From Chief Promoter, normally by builder and
2. by the members itself.
if Builder is not cooperating to form the Society , you can approach to the authority directly. List of documents are displayed in the concern offices.
